Sensory Processing Disorders
Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD) infuse many of the conditions that OTs treat. SPD is a condition in which the brain has trouble receiving and responding to everyday stimuli to make functional use of that information coming through the senses (auditory, visual, touch, proprioception, vestibular, and interoceptive).
