Down Syndrome
Occupational therapy treatment works with a child with Downs Syndrome to progress through developmental milestones and helps to find ways to make adaptations to everyday tasks to match a child’s current abilities. A child’s OT teaches self-care skills such as eating, dressing, cooking, writing, safety, and eventually transitional skills into adulthood.
